90′ FT Olympia once again leave Warrior Park convincing victors, it is a very happy hunting ground for the warriors. The Zebras fought hard today but when Mangione was shown red it was always going to be tough to leave Warrane with a victory. Olympia looked awesome today, Cantrell is on fire, she is such a potent force for Olympia up top, she has two bags of six in two weeks. Johnson was the catalyst in midfield, had a great influence on the contest and sent Olympia forward and in on goal on many occasions. The zebras are better than today’s result and score line suggests.
83′ GOAL 10-0 Cantrell! She is unstoppable! Johnson whips a long flat ball into Cantrell, who firmly volleys on her right and finishes past Baker.
76′ GOAL 9-0 Cantrell takes it in the top right corner of the box and belts it, Baker reaches for it but she can only watch as it flies into the top right corner.
72′ GOAL 8-0 Cavaretta goals from the left side of the box, she dashes into the box and hits it home.
70′ GOAL 7-0 Olympia! Cantrell bags her fourth, shooting off balance on her right Cantrell struck it nicely, Baker got a foot to it but could not prevent the ball from crossing the line.
68′ Barely been in the zebras half. They are doing well in defence to keep the warriors at bay. I have seen the zebras play much better than this, it looks as if they are missing some personel and the red card did their chances today no favours.
64′ Cantrell hits the post again and the ball bounces straight back to her, Minty pressures Cantrell and boots it clear.
60′ Magnificent save from Baker! Tipping a strongly struck Fitzgerald ball over the bar and out of play.
58′ Mcneill draws a foul at the edge of the box with some tricky footwork, the free kick is taken by Johnson but is shot well wide of goal.
55′ Cantrell belts it into the left post, it rebounds back into the box and Fitzgerald bolts at it, firing way over the bar.
54′ Cantrell almost! Cantrell and Obrien play it to each other as they enter the box, Cantrell steadies and then shoots wide of goal.
49′ GOAL! Olympia up 6-0! Cantrell with another goal dribbling around Baker and safely into goal to extend the warriors advantage to 6!
47′ Looks as if the Warriors have made a few half time changes with the result all but in the bank.
SUB [OLYMPIA]: ON: Chambers, OFF: Jones
45′ HT- Great half from Olympia, aided from the brain fade from Mangione and the red card that followed. Zebras are under siege today, barely constructed an attack on goal but have defended well to limit the damage at times. Tough day at the office for Baker and co. with Olympia sending shot after shot goalward.
44′ GOAL!!! 5-0 Olympia! Obrien gets in on the action. She fires a long bomb into the top left corner, a sweet strike to finish some stellar play in midfield from the warriors, fantastic passing from Fitzgerald and Cantrell to set up the attack.
41′ The zebras are well and truly on the back foot, the ball has spent a lot of time in their defensive half and their ventures forward have looked far from dangerous.
36′ Cavaretta runs down the left wing and hits it into Cesile’s hand just inside the box. The referee points to the spot! Another penalty for the warriors, this time to be taken by Cavaretta. She steps up and hammers it into the bottom left corner, Baker did well but it was a sweetly struck spot kick. GOAL!!! Olympia 4-0
30′ Defence already had their hands full but with Mangione given her marching orders the Zebras are going to have to mark tightly to avoid a blow out. Minty and Baker have played well thus far but Cantrell looks very keen to add to her goal tally.
26′ GOAL!!! Olympia 3-0 Cavaretta delivers a lovely ball to Cantrell in the penalty area, Cantrell quickly controls and slots it home past Baker on her right.
24′ Baker again! This time it is Johnson who shoots from the edge of the box. Baker keeping the Zebras in this one.
20′ Baker! What a save! Cantrell belts it at goal and Baker dives hard right and collects the ball.
17′ Drama here at Warrior Park!!! Cantrell shoots and catches Baker off guard, the ball seems destine for goal! Until Mangione on the last line sticks out her right hand instinctively and saves the ball from going into the back of the net. RED CARD!!! She looks embarrassed to say the least. The Referee points to the spot, Cantrell steps up and calmly hits it home. GOAL! 2-0 Olympia!
15′ GOAL!!! 1-0 Olympia Mcneill fires as she enters the box and the ball is lodged into the top right corner! Great strike to open the scoring for the warriors.
10′ Cavaretta darts into the box and belts it at goal, Great save by Baker!!! Jumping to her left, seeing the ball out for a corner.
6′ Early dominance by the Warriors, the game is being played on their terms and the Zebras are doing well to prevent scoreboard damage.
4′ Cantrell dribbles by Mangione and looks to shoot at goal but the ball is knocked away from her feet by a desperate Baker.
3′ Early chance for Johnson, Fitzgerald steps Minty and knocks it short to Johnson who fires off her right at the tip of the box, Baker dives to her right and knocks the ball out of play.

Cantrell to the Matilda’s? Is she good enough???
Well she is definitely the best the Southern Premier League has to offer on form.

She def should get off her lazy ass and try her game at a higher level. She has the ability I believe to play W- League at least
Cantrell, 10 goals in a week, if I am correct. Great in any standard of football.
You are correct Scheinmeister and it is 16 goals in two weeks of football.

Think Bliss is good.
Did Anyone actually see Rani on the Field.
Pure form i say!
Rani is a great player but the pure class always comes from Cantrell best in the state by far keep up the great work Bliss
Bliss is only as good as her service and can only play in the forward line, Ranni can create a different ball game, has the ability to create her own chances and can play where ever she is needed to play on the field.
Personally i believe Ranni’s the standout in woment’s football, not Bliss. But i’ll give Bliss her credit, she knows where the net is, but so does Ranni.
Keep up the great work Rani.
No question Rani Cavaretta is one of the best players in the Women’s southern premier league. Remarkable work rate and her delivery to Bliss assists her to be the dominant goal scorer she is.
